Greetings, Mortals! Welcome to my Lair! Please be sure to leave your shoes by the door--I will not tolerate mudstains on my purple shag carpet.
I am primarily a writer of short stories (horror and sci-fi), but in the summer of 2009 I discovered Daz Studio 3, and I was able to realize my dream of creating 3D art, perhaps to illustrate my stories (in fact, I've only done that twice to date).
This past summer (2011), I picked up the Personal Learning Edition of Bryce 7, and it has more or less replaced Daz at the present moment, although I still find Daz useful at times.Â
I'm not particularly talented with either program, but I have a lot of fun using them. That's the only thing that matters, right?
Other than writing and 3D artwork, my interests include music (metal, industrial, gothic, hardcore, and jazz), and classic 1990's First-Person Shooter games (i.e. Doom, Rise of the Triad, Blake Stone, etc...). My love of FPS gaming may come up in the artwork that I post, as I do love rendering images in a style heavily reminiscent of that type of games.
The image on my page is a screenshot I took from a Build Engine FPS called "Nam," set during the Viet Nam War. If you find this area, you can see some kind of green substance splattered on the trees, and if you listen very closely, you can hear the shrieks of a wounded creature. I think it's supposed to be a reference to the first "Predator" film.
