Description

Zebras, Pajama Donkeys or Just escaped from Prison Carin (Meisiekind) paid my attention to the expression of Pajama Donkeys, Myself , I have always the association with prisoners!! I like the expression Pajama Donkeys very much !!! LOL !!! Nevertheless they are fantastic animals to spot in real life, and so well equipped for posing for photographers!!! But their stripes work so well to camouflage the young ones, this not always realized !! This is only a part of the group which was together (the whole group did not fit on the photo), a bit nervous, because two female lions where in the neighborhood!! We have seen at least 200 Zebra on one day in Etosha and this these are few of them. Photo is taken from our camper when we drove through the Etosha national park, Namibia. Leaving your car for a photo or something else, is not recommended!!! We have seen a few (very large) elephants and an overload of other species of wildlife in this huge national park . We spent 4 days (3 nights) in this fantastic national park in Namibia. We made in May / June 2011 a trip through the southern part of Africa ( RSA, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia) . Oh Henk - this is a stellar image of this group of escaped prisoners or Pajama Donkeys! LOL... I love that you got so many in one shot. The Etosha National Park is one of the best wildlife resorts in Africa. I haven't been there for a long time but I am planning to go next year - maybe in the spring! I am enjoying your trip with you and it is wonderful to see my country (and neighbours) through your eyes. Most amazing series my friend!
