Description

Another picture inspired by the new DMC/Devil May Cry.I still hate Dantes new hairstyle, but at least everything elso looks very fine. This picture was extreme time consuming, I had a lot of texturing to do, creating FBM for all clothes and refine his body. The face was a custom morph, I had finished for another project a while ago.I had a little bit of help with the weapons, a friend created the base mesh for me and I only had to sculped a bit in ZBrush. The necklace charm was fun, I am still struggling a bit with Blender, but I think it turned out good enough and held at least SOME resemblance to the old and new design. Now I only wish, I had chosen another light, my textures have so much more details...

Regardless of the lighting, which I think is quite striking though I can see your point about the texture details, this is a fine and dramatic work. I thought at first you painted over a 3-d render. The contrast of his white skin and dark clothing is very striking.
