Description

A few years an unused bowling alley collapsed under the weight of a heavy snowstorm. As the debris was being cleared away I captured this shot of a remaining ball return rack at the wall near the neighboring building. It may look a little different to some of you who bowl because this was a candlepin alley and the balls are smaller.

My world! (I work in a Bowling Centre)..smaller balls and by the looks of it shorter lanes. The side wall of the pindeck is still in place at the far end and the lanes are still there.Would be nice to think this might be re-built, but I doubt it...for me a very interesting picture, though I never like to see these places 'lost' but it gives a different perspective on something we take for granted.I have a complete photo record of the demolition and re-build of the place where I work....now that's a different view of Ten Pin!! :-)
