Description

Siberian tiger painted using wacom intuos3 tablet and pen and Photoshop CS4. Took me ages but I needed to make it right as it was a request from my friend Sven who was so kind to allow me to create art from his animal photography. I have always wanted to paint a large cat to place on the most beautiful background by Elenadudina. Her gallery is on DA and her backgrounds will astound and mesmerise you: so thank you for such a beautiful image Elena. My dear friends thank you so much for all your wonderful comments on my previous upload and for the faves too, I appreciate it more than you know. This is gorgeous Jane! I love the lighting, color, and atmosphere. You've done a wonderful job placing him into the background. He both is a part of it and really stands out. I love the way you have enhanced his eyes and added to the lighting outlining the trees and shining on the leaves. Beautiful lighting and shading of his fur! I love the combination of light and medium tones of his gold fur and his white fur stands out so beautifully. His face is absolutely gorgeous. Superb work on this! I love it!

Oh Jane, this takes my breath away with it's beauty! The background is beyond beautiful and words cannot even describe it's beauty. And yet it does not overpower the this majestic and regal tiger at all. It just sets off the tiger's stunning beauty. Magnificent Jane, simply magnificent!
