thought I'd post a squence of images highlighting the work process on this one. Forty hours +. An illustration of Matt Lucas (Tweedle dum & Tweedle dee out of Alice in Wonderland).
This was a comissioned piece by Matt, the final version is larger than A2, looks great in large print!

Great one, what do you use, Freehand or Illustrator?

Always freehand for this kind of work. It's lighter and more basic. There's something like 20,000 individual paths. Illustrator darts to struggle with that amount of stuff going on.
