Description

HEARTACHE: The feeling of your heart being ripped from your chest. I felt this years ago when events out of my control caused me to pass custody of my daughter to my parents. This is the feeling I have had every day since then. I didn't think the feeling could get any worse until my daughter came to me one evening and begged me to take her away from her grandparents, telling me things I wish I had known earlier; telling me things that I wished I could have prevented her from having to experience. HEARTACHE... what my daughter feels every day, living in a situation she cannot stand and knowing no matter how loudly she speaks, she hasn't been heard - until she could finally speak to me when she felt safe, in a heart to heart. HEARTACHE... the feeling that, hopefully, will be going away soon, as I am reunited with my darling daughter... and the courts grant me custody once more.... and healing for my daughter can begin.
