Description
My old Cylon Centurian model, simply Re-rendered in LW 10.1. It's lit with the background HDRI image, and the LW camera was set to the real camera type and adjusted to match the settings of the plate image as closely as possible. Really a 1 2 3 render without much thought - just a test of LW 10.1. I though the results were really good considering almost no work being put into this.

Awesome! I still love the original Cylon design, you've made it look so cool!

Thanks for the comment... much appreciated

what's that red light in the front there ?
TalleyJC
Cylons had, a sweeping red eye... in the render I have a tightly focused spotlight behind the visor which is shines through, reproducing the eye spot of "the real" ones. He's chrome so there is a reflection of the visor eye on the inside of the helmet.

Looking at the Cylon, I can hear that specific sound of the eye sweeping back and forth. As per previous comments, I really like the original design as well.

This is really awesome, brings back fond memories of the original BSG. Nice work!

Wow ! Looks like the real deal - excellent~!

Ahh yes the sound, shonsu ... I have recreated that as well. The original sweep was done on an Arp2600 synthesizer. I'm a keyboard player and also have a soft-synth of the Arp2600. I programmed that exact sound =0)

Very nice indeed!

You did the work with the original model - Which is excellent. The lighting certainly adds. Would love to see an animation.
