The name sounds so familiar... maybe it was in a Zane Gray book I read long ago... He lived and saw the places he set his stories in and is known for his vivid descriptions putting the reader in the setting. Your image shows what a distinctive place it is. I travelled up the panhandle from SW OK to Shamrock once some years ago but it was after dark and I saw nothing but a couple of empty little towns. Somewhen maybe I can travel it again but in daylight~ GL with your pretty tree, they recover well if given a chance, Mom had one that did the same.

Splendid photo! I'm sorry to hear about your pear tree. I hope you can save it. Have you ever tried putting peanut butter on a juicy pear? Delicious!

It is not easy to lose our beauty, a fruit tree split in two or three hii ....Nice clic my friend again, I love the sedimentary layers that are the cultural aspect as ((5 + +)) Il n'est pas facile de perdre notre beauté,un arbre fruitier coupé en deux hii ou trois Joli pose mon ami encore ,J'adore les couches sédimentaires qui font l'aspect culturel comme ((5++))
