Description

yesterday Andrea put up a very unique self portrait taken in a shop. I thought it might make a cool photo manip to post her in space. Andrea is an exceptional artist, and shares so much of her world with the rest of us. The work she and her furry folk do visiting the elderly and children groups deserves a lot more recognition than it gets. I work in the field of long term care for the elderly. I see first hand on a daily basis how even residents that have lost the ability to communicate years ago and tend to exist in a diminshed shrinking world, become animated and excited when they are visited by kind folks with furry friends.

How kind of you, Jim! I love it! I'm not exceptional at all, and I'm glad I saw this before I posted my next image, because you give me an idea... It is definitely true what you say about the animals, though. They do make a lot of folk very happy, and not least of those is me! Thankyou so much! (Blushes)
