I am BACK!
After a few years on hiatus from the Poser-verse, I am BACK! Currently enjoying Poser Pro 11 and testing out what it can do compared to its predecessors.
Sorry, my computer refuses to run DS 4.x so although I have nothing against that program as such, it's just not an option to me. Not that I mind much, I know Poser and why start at square one with a new program?
But that makes me a Poser User™ - so whatever I make is for Poser. I think most of the props will work in DS, but I have no way of testing it. Downloader Beware ;)
Other than that, I am some 50+ years old (not giving the exact amount isn't because of vanity but it saves me from remembering to update this every time another year has passed)
Mother of two, now adult kids.
Married to a very patient man
Obsessed with Alan Rickman
Even more obsessed with Severus Snape
NEW: Now also obsessed with Tim Roth - and his alter ego Cal Lightman from the TV series Lie To Me
Whovian
Occasionally a Star Trek geek (on the low burner at the moment)
japanophile
Plays Pokemon Go every day! HAH!
Working as a train conductor.
Probably a pervert, depending on who you ask
Never TOO serious ;o)

Very niiiiice, TG. Oh yes, he has definitely stoppered Death -- that's my Book 7 and I'm sticking to it. ;-) PP2012, eh? Looks like maybe I'll have to upgrade.

Looks like a Vue render (btw, I'm wondering about the short render time with PP2012! I am regretting more and more that I only bought P9 instead of PP2012...). The image looks pretty lifelike - an excellent and rich scene! The DOF effect is pretty unconspicious, but yet effective. A more movie-like spotlight on Snape's face would make it more noticeable, but the present lighting provides the whole scene with a decent realism. Here some nitpicking: The four bottles on the shelf look as if they're glassy (because I recognise the liquids they're containing), but they don't have the awesome glass effect of the vessels in front.

Knechtruprecht - you're absolutely right about the bottles in the back. I thought I'd put the proper glass shader on everything, but when the render was doen I saw I'd missed those. And at that point, I just didn't want to wait another three hours (this was mainly because of the glass, I could see how everything stopped to a crawl when it encountered the glass L) - so I hoped no one would notice ;) I should have known better L

Well, I think it's great. If I put that much in one render, my Poser would crash and probably my pokey old computer, too. Kudos!!!
