Somewhere in my roof space there is an early 'masterpiece' by me aged 8, entirtled 'Between the Grass Blades'. If the mice haven't made a nest of it, it features Mrs Ladybird hurrying to the shops for more aphid along with many other folk. This takes me back to the excitement I felt when my class was given the title paints and a huge sheet of sugar paper.
