Another pic of Hinton St George, in Yesterdays upload,there is one pub in the main street, there used to be one to the right in Yesterdays upload but unfortunately in burned down in 1959.Its mainly retired Gentry folk who live in the Village now,

Lovely stonework and I do love a good thatched roof..a dieing art by all accounts and fire regs make it a very expensive 'building' material nowadays.Sad to hear about the pub, but it just goes to show, it's worth having a spare in the High Street :-) All the yellow stone reminds me of Rob's (debbielove) home town of Stamford.....thank you Pat....
