Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

A wonderful picture of Carla B. I'm so sorry to hear the news, but glad she has had a long life filled with joy and love and wishing you all more good memories before it is time to say goodbye. CC

Marvelous capture of a very happy looking Carla B. I am so very sorry to hear about her health concerns. Unfortunatly this is a part of loving something. There is always the risk that eventually we will need to face a devastating loss. The only way to avoid the pain of loss is to never love anyone or anything. Carla B. has been such a joy to you for many years there is no way it will not hurt when its time to say goodbye. Last fall Glenda and I had to say goodbye to Misty after 17 wonderful loving years. We still miss her a lot, but also have many great memories of fun times with her. Carla, has enjoyed being part of one of the most loving families I have ever seen. Few animals are so well cared for. Depending how her cancer is progressing she could have several good months left or it could be short time. Just keep loving her each and every day, watch for signs of increasing discomfort and pain.

A stunning capture of your girl Carla B, I am sorry that she is not in the best of health at the moment, she is though a lucky, lucky girl (despite her health worries) to have found you Barbara. I doubt she would have had a better home. I know how hard it can be and I am thinking of you all, lets hope she will be by your side for as long as possible,

Beautiful Carla 'B'. She has such beautiful eyes and such a lovely expression. I am very sorry, Barbara. She is lucky to have a wonderful home and you to ease her on her way when the time comes. Give the beautiful Carla another hug from Texas. My thoughts are with you.

Oh Barbara how devastating this news is to all of us on here who have followed your girls antics with interest.. In a way she (well they all) have become a part of the rendo family.. I pray that she will continue to be a round for some time to come.. It is never easy to take news like this and my heart and thoughts go out to you and Carla B and the rest of your family as you deal with this. Please give her a big hug from me here in New Zealand...

I am so glad to have stopped by for this pic and your comment. As you know, I've been scarce of late. And before I forget, thanks a million for your comments on our blog...the trip goes on but the blog entries are off for a few days as we spend time with our grandsons, daughter and son-in-law. We'll be back on the road this Wednesday and the blog will come back to life. As for Carla 'B''s diagnosis...a super tough thing to hear for any dog owner/lover. My heart is with you...we've lost two Westies to cancer over the years. Carla 'B' has the best of homes and owners. What more could she ever ask for?! Give her a special hug for Tara and me today.

Dear Barbara my dearest friend we have spoken about this together, and you know I am always here for you whenever you need me. It is the right thing that you have told all your very dear friends here on Rendo, because reading through your comments I can tell how much they all not only love you, but your beloved pets too, so you are very thoughtful to warn and prepare those friends especially as I know how difficult it is for you right now. Love you and your beloved Carla B give her a gentle hug from her Aunty Janice. xxxxxxx

I've already expressed to you how I feel .. devastated. I've never petted Carla B, never gave her hugs, never felt her soft nose on my face or her kisses, nor have I ever given her or the other girls kisses, but Barb, I feel like they are a part of my family, too. I'm just glad that she is still in good spirits, still enjoying her food, and that she still can go for walkies, though maybe not as spirited as she once did. This is the saddest news, you know my prayers are with you all, these are difficult times. But Carla B couldn't be in a better place. Being with you she has the best of care, the most love, and happiness and contentment to the last day.
