Description

I recently went away to a friend's surprise 60th birthday....it was a fantastic trip....during the party, my dear friend Tom (the birthday boy) introduced me to a young girl that loved dragons. He then told her that I created dragon pictures and her eyes lit up. I asked if she would like me to create a dragon picture for her and with a big toothy grin she said yes.... I then asked her what the dragon should be called and she said "Meadow.....Meadow the Dragon" so my rendo friends...here be Meadow... protector of the people, guardian of the castle.... Holy smokes, and some kids just get stuck with a silly ole puppy ! I am in full agreement with Odile: the lighting is really well done. I like that the strong upward direction of it emphasizes the position of the dragon above the viewer, as does his eye contact. My favorite facet of this particular gem has to be the wing membrane texture.

I'm sure she will like it, it's a splendid render, Carl! I'm glad you have zoomed out a bit from your usual scene, it can be nice to see the whole like in this one... The composition of this render is a killer, every single pixel is placed exactly where it should be... and the light!
