Description

Doing my best to make it around the galleries today. Thanks to all that have shown their support over the last week. This is one of those looking back where I've come from images. On the left up high would be the precipice where the last group of images got taken from. The cross bedding looks absolutely chaotic here, not sure if the lack of direct sun light helped it stand out so boldly. Keeping it short so as to get to some more commenting. Hope everyone is enjoying this trek around the Cottonwood cove area of this wilderness. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2257571.jpg

Beautiful swirls and layers going all higgledy-piggledy across the landscape! Wonderful detail and composition. I love the valley of sand and plants that weaves like a river at the base of the formations. Excellent capture!

I agree, what an excellent capture. I like the sparse greens, they look like tiny accents on the mountainside. Your photos are breathtaking!

Zoom is definitely a must. What a fantastic landscape, all layers, textures and colors. The rock face at center in the background is the color of roast beef. Outstanding image.
