Description
and Einstein curved time
(space too)
they say
he had a theory,
"curved time"
i'd like that,
that being able to
curve time...
somewhat like a
strawberry twizzler
candy whip
so malleable,
all bendy
and twistable
perhaps even
wreathed full circle
meeting end to end
imagine...
then, if you
walked fast enough
(probably double time)
you'de be
able to
catch up
and poke your
ego-self in the back
or
just play shadow to
your own identity
self-emulate
as you trace
each footstep
you walk, then
tread,
again

Picture taken while on my Sunday walk around with Bill, Tara, Corey and Chip. That is Corey, Tara and Bill in the photo. Chip was standing next to me as we tossed around a few theories of our own devising about this very neat city sculpture.
As always, thanks for looking and your comments.

As one of only three who can I am poking my ego self and giggling happily. (heeheehee!)

I have seen photos of this and did know where it was. Super shot and problem solved. Thanks!

Hey, I thought I commented on this! Ooops! Well, I meant to comment on this and now I'm correcting that rather typical oversight on my part! I remember this day perfectly, and I remember the conversation as well! You're quite fast with that camera thingie, too...it barely registered that you'd taken this shot, but I was vaguely aware of overall camera action that day. I love IR photography, though I have yet to actually try it. The results are always surprising. This is really nicely done, and it's a wonderfully distinct take on reality...well...it's IR reality at least. And I still think that's an exploded aluminum can pretending to be architecture...either that, or (if you look at it from the front) the wreckage of an alien spacecraft. And, to top it off, I love the poem...I never thought of curved time and Twizzlers in the same mental phrase, and now I'm beginning to wonder if curved time tastes like strawberry Twizzlers, or the licorice ones!

A twist in time a tongue-twisting theory? Nice idea!
