Follow the path of the apparent diagonal lines from the lower left region ultimately to the upper left corner.

I'm assuming you mean for us to follow the line from the lower left to the mid-top and then downwards to the right side at the same level as the beginning point and then slope upwards to the top left corner? Such was my journey. Would I haave made it without your suggestion? Doubtful! I was lost in searching for differences amongst the detail.
