Description


Solanum aviculare. Also known as Kangaroo Paw. Small, 3-10ft high shrub with ornate purple flowers blooming throughout Spring and Summer. Flowers are followed by green fruit ripening to yellow and then a deep orange. NOTE: Fruit can be eaten fresh BUT MUST BE DARK ORANGE/RED to eat. The unripe stage of the fruit (above) contains DEADLY TOXINS. DO NOT EAT! Please zoom for a better look.
