In between Fleet Week, Decompression and everything else that was going on here in the City. Still made the time for the "Occupy SF" march
The "Occupy" protests are a series of protests which have been occurring since late September 2011. The protests began in New York with Occupy Wall Street, and have subsequently spread to cities across the United States and to a number of other countries.
The protests are primarily against social and economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government.
As of 9 October 2011 activists in cities in more than 25 countries made calls for global demonstrations on 15 October. Many are using online website and social media like Facebook, Twitter, Meetup, and Tumblr to coordinate the events. Protest pages in Spain and Italy have 42,410 and 20,568 RSVPs, respectively.

To whom this may concern: It took a good many years to get us where we are - the undoing of it may take just as long! Only determination and dedication would push forward any changes! I have an idea that might help move things forward: Reduce your dependencies on Brand name products! For example, next mouth stop purchasing cosmetic products - if done on a global scale, those responsible for our misery will start feeling the effect of our discontent! The idea is unlike the practice certain countries use toward other countries whenever it's convenient to them! The only difference is that the consumer finally stands up to the commercialization of our daily life by global giant agglomerations! Do the unexpected: Speak out against Social Injustices! Good luck to all! thecytron

While these 99% are sitting around protesting, maybe they should read some real history about the protest before the Nazis took over, or the protests before the communists took over Russia, China, Cuba, Eastern Europe, etc. 150 million dead because a bunch of people were used by others to gain power, and then they killed the protestors.

The answer is very simple, Democracy. Democracy is a political system where the government represents and execute the will of the population.

Hello fellow artist, Rob3d here, long time member I am currently doing an art show in second life to raise awareness for the Occupy wall street and Occupy together movements . I saw this and would love to show it there. The prizes don't amount to much in real world dollars. Around 20 dollars US for first place. If you like to show at the art show please send me an email robertj192@cox.net
