Description

Dan Wheldon Winner of the Indianapolis 500 of this year was killed in a race in Las Vegas who was a father of two children and one really fantastic person who will be greatly missed so i am so glad i got to watch his last win at Indy.

Always such a shame when someone so young dies. I lost interest in Nascar when my favorite Alan Kulwicki died. Risky business, nice dedication.

DBM: WONDERFUL tribute! .... SAD indeed! ... He WON INDY this past year/spring and could NOT get a RIDE with a TEAM! .... Then he FINALLY GOT one and this was IT .... SIGHS .... He did COMMENTATING on INDY RACES a few times and was a NATURAL! .... GREAT person/personality .... Was CRYING once when talking about his MOTHER who has ALZHEIMERS .... TRAGIC all around .... I was listening to a report on his death. Another driver who was also in the crash but walked away, said there had been issues raised by the drivers about the safety of the race. I hope the drivers' concerns will be more listened to in the future. It is very sad. Beautiful image and dedication.
