This is the flower of our National tree.When the tree blooms, almost all the leaves fall and the tree becomes a pink bouquet

The name comes from Nahuatl and is pronounced: Ma (as in man), key, Lee, whe (as in Where) Makeyleewhe, LOL Thanks to auntietk for the idea of phonetic.
