Description

Hi all, The above photo was taken by my friend Jan at the local Jam night early August this year. Left to right Dave Donnelly , me and Martin Colley. There were six of us playing but the only photographs taken were of each half of the makeshift band. I'm publishing it to let my friends know what I've been up to this year. I'm not doing much artwork as I've gone back to music and spend my spare time practicing guitar. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with prostate cancer this year and the photo is of the last time I played live. Since then I have had my prostate removed and am currently (slowly) recovering from the operation. My recovery has been dogged by setbacks but the good news is the cancer appears to have been contained within the walls of the prostate and there's a very good chance I'm cured. Time will tell, I'll be monitored for the next ten years or so. Hope you are all well. Best Wishes Mike

Great shot of you and the band Mike great to hear you are still around and that your doing something you enjoy :-). Not good to hear of the cancer but glad all seems to be ok now.. Keep in touch mate, a posting now and then of what your up to ;-) Stay safe!!

Great to see you again and even better to hear that you are feeling better and that your health is improving. I really miss your posts and is great to see you here again. The band looks great and you really look like you're enjoying yourself.
