Description
There has been a well attended open forum discussion in the Elmstown Liberty Theatre before the 2009 mayor election.
The candidates were Stanley Karoukera and John H. Gibbs (here speaking). They knew each other pretty well because they are the only two solicitors on the island.
The open forum was moderated by Dr. Robert ("Bubba") Grant, rector of the Elmstown university.
BTW:The sign's meaning of "Liberals" should not be confused with the US meaning of "liberal". On St.Luma it represents economic liberalism, the ideal of personal liberty and very few state interventionism.
