Goldennrod? Had to google that word. Now I know. A pretty golden flower = flower power... and the mighty lead my on the way to goldenrod to this Solidago video. And the indians used goldenrod as medicine. Quote Wiki: Native Americans chewed the leaves to relieve sore throats and chewed the roots to relieve toothaches. One of my fave wildflowers .. Goldenrod. In the late summer, early fall, the meadow area at the Hollow is a sea of Goldenrod, it's gorgeous.
