BIOI was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, August 29, 1953. I now reside in Stafford, Virginia. In college, I had a double major of English Lit and Philosophy, so became a computer programmer. I programmed for close to 20 years before I got sick of reading records and writing records and became a LAN Administrator. I love reading, movies, chess, art, sports, and physics (quantum). Oh, and I'm told I'm "different". (Don't ask me, I don't know why.)

Nice job, Paul! Love the composition and the poses. I would have liked to have seen some shadows on the ground but it's a very nice pic overall! ;o)

Paul, I'm dying to know the story behind this. I know it must be a good one. I'm not as universally well-read as you are. This is a cool image, and amazing that there's no postwork. The hair looks good.

Paul, I agree with Linda in that there's a story behind this that I would love to hear. Now let's see, Nathalie's right. it does need some ground shadows to give it a sense of realism. Other than that, I don't know that the ground texture agrees with the rest of the scene and I think more of a beige/brown stone would offset some of the emerald in the columns. Finally, your warrior with the shield looks a little stiff. Her upper body is ready to move, but her lower body is very fixed. Before you get the impression that I don't like this, please understand that I really do and I think there are plenty of things that are very well done in here including the vegetation, sky and general scene arrangement. With a few tweaks, this could really kick some butt!

Great image, Paul! The lighting is a little confusing, like 2 sepeate renders, one with light from the right and one from the left? No post work!! WOW
