"Greetings, fair travellers from the great realm of New Hampshire! I am Arwen Undomiel, daughter of Elrond. I bid you walk with me along safe paths to Rivendell, where we shall dine, tell many stories of old, and celebrate your birthdays!"
Just wanted to drop a little Birthday greeting to two wonderful friends and artist/photographers, Mike and Holly, AKA mrestey and erestorfan! If I remember correctly, Holly's is the 19th, and I know Mike's is the 20th! For some reason it's easy to remember..... *wink*
I've had this Liv Tyler look-alike (well, it sorta looks like her) for some time, and thought it would be perfect for a couple LOTR fans!
Arwen was rendered in PP2012, and composited into one of my woodland photos. I made two layers of the final composite, ran the background layer through the Virtual Photographer filter to give it a bit of a dreamy look, and set the top layer to about 50% opacity.
Arwen is no longer in the marketplace. The beautiful Elven blade is by Chuck Nepo - thanks, Chuck! Pose by me.
Hope you two have a great celebration for your birthdays! Eat some cake for me! :-D

I spaced out that there's another Mike and Holly here - lol.... Mike is on my favorite artist's list and I haven't been to Holly's yet... My Holly here doesn't post because she doesn't like her name (DiamondSnatcher) .... Her idea was a diamond in her logo... and then I had to go and say let's but a catburglar stealing the diamond - it sounded great but later my Wife deleted her gallery and thought the name would identify her as or with a thief.... Rendo wants to charge to change it, so my Wife decided not to post anymore. ....anyway, Happy Birthday to the real Mike and Holly! Speaking of Birthdays.... Isn't tomorrow someone's special birthday??? someone that kisses like Al Gore??? LOL Happy Birthday Rod!!!! now go spank yourself - HARD!!!

Hi Rod! Thank you SO mmuch for this elven dedication! Boy, I wouldn't want to cross Arwen with that sword! And of course if you mess with Arwen her father and brothers, not to mention Aragorn would come to her aid I'm sure! I like the dress in this one...feminine but practical to kill any Orcs that may come along! The background is wonderful too! A nice path through the woods to a lovely elven realm. Hopy you have a good day too and hope you didn't spank yourself too hard, LOL!!!!
