Description

A neighbor at the Hollow has a pond, and she has water lilies, they were blooming so prettily. They made me think of you, Cecilia, you always post such wonderful waterlily photos. So this one is for you, with hopes that you are well, and that the awful state of affairs in your area has calmed down. You are in all of our prayers. This is two photos combined, the pink lilies were blooming near the white, and there yellow as well. The sunshine was very bright and the yellow ones just didn't turn out well. I had to do a little darkening to get the colors better. The pink lily is transplanted from one photo to another. It doesn't seem to mind, grins. Many thanks for all the wonderful comments on the previous post, and the faves. I have to admit I was pretty pleased with the results on that one, myself.

These are so beautiful Rita and it is so sad about Cecilia and all the troubles she has. Her heart sounds to be broken. She will love seeing this. The little pink water lily does look quite at home here and it is a nice addition. Excellent work and great captures.

This is so beautiful. My waterlilies do not bloom this closely together, as they are just getting a start in our pond. I hope they do as well as these, eventually.

beautiful dedi and i was on cecilias this morning and the whole crap about the us war on drugs upsets me. i dont wanna speak out too much unless i want to land in shitanamo. but when i grew up the usa had just liberated my country form the nazi asses,and the us of a was the hero country for all of my generation for a while. what has become of this?? the biggest democracy of the world is not at all democratic anymore and is going down the drain and they suck us all into the abyss. babylon the great whore???. well enough for today.

It's a beautiful photo and a beautiful thought for poor Cecilia. I hadn't visited her gallery for a long time and just now looked in. The woman rips my heart out, living with such violence, strife, and lonliness. This world is one scary place, and you and I are sooooo lucky to be safe and at peace.
