Description
The night sky was clear and the air was cold, so, I grabbed my scope and called a buddy of mine to do some astrophotography. When it got dark, we noticed that the only house around the observatory has installed a massive street light! That is BAD for viewing the stars. Light was everywhere. We were able to shoot 40 second photos at ISO 1600 thru teh scope. This is s stack of about 40 photos. No darks or flats, and a lot of stretching in photoshop. Thanks for viewing. It really takes a lot of effort to create these images.

Absolutely wonderful! So sorry to hear about the street light... I wonder if you could call them on starry nights and ask them to turn it off?
