Description

An ominous looking sky heralded stormy weather and then the rain set in - what a relief! Everything looked refreshed again after the downpour, but I liked to linger a little longer, standing on the inside - looking out ... I love the mood of this - don't you ? *** BTW the lyrics, from the same title, were made famous by several great singers - time to swoon along with Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne or Billie Holiday ? I love the mood of this too, it is a super capture of the rainy day. I love how the water is running down the window as if it is in a hurry to reach the ground and how the reflected light looks as if it is out in the rain.

I really like this, Brigitte. Brings to mind my favorite type of day, warm and cosy inside while it rains and then taking a walk in the fresh air after the rain has stopped. Superb composition and execution. For me its Lena Horne. Her rendition was so sensual.

Yes, I definitely do! I also like how it is warmed up by the reflection of the light. Gorgeous shot. It looks like a great view out that window too. We were in a drought for a long time here and when the rains finally came it was wonderful. BTW, blue herons always fly with their necks tucked in never out.
