Description

As I stand in front of the mirror Getting ready to shave I look at the poor old man and wonder Where have the years gone Who put those ugly wrinkles On that beautiful face. Everything is a mystery Nothing makes sense to me In my mind I am a young man Chasing pretty girls But my hands hurt in the morning And my back hurts at night I remember when nothing would make me mad Now if I can’t find that damn remote There is hell to pay Mirror, mirror Who put those ugly wrinkles On that beautiful face Now in my defense I just got a hair cut and I tried to have tired looking eyes and oh ya I am getting old lol. That is suppose to be a mirror around me. I need a little work on my special effects. I hope you like it Randy

Impressionante toque de verdade em nossas almas passadas pela vida, o espelho reflete a imagem , mas nunca a alma. Magnifico poema e arte meu amigo. ainda mais para nos que já vimos tanto deste mundo a rodar.excelente, aplausos (5) Awesome touch of truth in our souls through life, the mirror reflects the image, but never the soul. Lovely poem and art my friend. even more to us that we have seen so much of this world rodar.excelente, applause (5)

I put those wrinkles there, because I've got them to...wanted to share and for the remote the grandkids are always putting it somewhere.

I think we can all relate, or for some of the younger ones, they will experience it soon. Excellent

Spot on. Well said and seen. About a month ago I cut 8 ish inches of my beard off but, couldn't bring myself to go clean shaven. My young man is still hiding inside my mirror. ;-)

You're not doing so bad, Randy. I have Dorian Gray Dyslexia. I have a picture hidden in my closet that stays young while I get older. Nice postwork and great poem. I'm sure I'm not the only one that can relate.

I know how you feel...I just looked at the mirror this morning and said, "What the heck happened?" The mirror just laughed and said "Life! Oh, you'll get used to it!" And by noon, I did! Now, back to chasing pretty girls, but would someone tell me what to do if I catch any?

Cool poem, Randy. I'm 60 and I still feel like a teenager, so when I look in the mirror it is always a shock.
