Just wanted to show you the kind of terrain I have been raking...not your average flat front lawn :-) I wanted you all to know why I am so tired and so far behind in comments...didn't want you to think I was whining about raking a few leaves :-) I'd have shown you the full sized image but Rendo kept telling me it was too big, no matter how much I reduced it.
Thank you for viewing :-)

well that should only take you about a half hour to do....lol I know the feeling long hot baths with a strong drink after a day of raking is my suggestion

Nope, not gonna do it, them leaves would still be there till the Snow came to cover them up. Ya need a Bigazzed Hurricane fan to blow'em all into the neighbors yard is what ya need. Peace

I don't rake mine until late spring now. That way, 1) insects that lay eggs and such will survive into the next year 2) birds seem to like hiding their finds under many of the leaves 3) birds will use some of it for nests in the spring 4) they dry out and weigh far less in the spring, and the very best reason is 5) 80% of the dried leaves blow away early in the winter!

Beautiful Autumn colors and rock txt!

They're beautiful on the trees and i'm sure a lot of work on the ground. When the leaves fall here the wind blows them away. CC

That's why I had two sons - so I wouldn't have to rake, or shovel the driveway for that matter either :)

I can see that you are very buzzy with raking those leaves Karen.....i am glad that i dont have such a big garden.....lol. But i really do understand what you mean about being tired. But still this is such a beautiful capture Karen....love it.

Well Fall does have its disadvantages as well as it's unique beauty. At least the ragweed is mostly gone now, and being outside is possible. Nice big yard, though, so that must be a joy. I have almost two acres to take care of....and about forty trees. It's like living in the woods, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

But I believe that the satisfaction of work well done and finished comforts us a little bit my Beatiful I hope all the leafs are down?? Hiiiii((5++)) Mais je croie bien que la satisfaction du travail bien fait et fini nous réconforte un petit peu ma Belle .J'espère que toutes les feuilles sont tombées?? ((5++))

It will be a lot easier if you move all those stones away.
