Description
Haven't posted in some time.
There have been some things happening that are beyond my control. Cancer have struck three people, an uncle with colon cancer, an old friend with breast cancer and my brother-in-law with non hodgkin's lymphoma.
Then there's my mother's estate where everything has to be liquidated. With two sisters and four brothers the greed has come out with a passion. All I have been hearing is "I want this, I want that" and the arguing starts. Money will destroy a family faster than anything else. I personally don't want anything, I have the good memories and that's fine by me.
This is where I got the title and feel of this image.
Thanks for listening and I don't mean to be so depressing.

Gorgeous image. When my mom passed a few years ago there was virtually nothing to split between the 5 children. I guess that helps cut down the greed, I have many many great memories of my mother and that will always be. I am sorry to hear the trouble you are experiencing with your siblings, something like that can ruin relationships for years to come.

I hear ya man, the same damn thing happened in my family when my Mom died. There were 7 of us still then, it was insanely ignorant, I got out, told them I wanted nothing except some old pictures I picked out, I haven't spoken to my oldest Sister since, what an ignorant greedy B!tch.

A beautiful fractal composition, Stick. I think you managed to make the dark side, look a lot lighter. A strong expression of dark times imo. Cancer is a nasty disease, i hope for the best, for these people. Sometimes disaster just strikes, and there is nothing one can do to prevent it or ease it. I think it is allowable to feel a little depressed now and then, and also talk about it without feeling ashamed. One get crazy, if going around with all the bad thoughts inside, all alone. Sometimes it ease the pain to get it out, in words or images. Sad to hear the financial depression hit your pension too. Even sadder that some CEO prolly got his golden handshake with your hard earned money. They always get away with it, unfortunately. They ought to be put behind bars, with all the murderers, and criminals. +5
