Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

Ik denk dat het een berkendoder is, maar dan een die ver over de houdbaarheidsdatum heen is. Aan de structuur van de zwam te zien is dat het geval. Neemt niet weg dat het een mooie plaat is geworden.

Really lovely atmosphere and composition, Onno! Not sure if I can help you with the title of this particular fungus... though it does look most interesting and has a very unique texture about it. It's almost in the form of lips.... a lovely view as well!
