Reminds me of a movement in Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" - Floret silva nobilis: Wâ ist min geselle alse lange? Der ist geritten hinnen, hinnen, hinnen. O wî, wer sol mich minnen? (12th century German). (The woods are blooming: Where is my love gone to so long? He has ridden away, away, away. Oh, woe, who shall now love me?) Beautiful job expressing the sorrow of loneliness and anxiety over his not showing up. Has something happened to him? Or, has he turned to someone else? Oh, woe is me! Keep up the good work! :-)
