Senator Goruk paced nervously along the hallway, inside one of Coronet City's space hangars. He kept going over what had happened in his mind, how he had gotten into so much trouble. But soon, his thoughts were disrupted as he heard the door open and a young blond girl stepped inside, an amused smile on her lips. Janie: ''I'm glad to see you're on time, Senator.'' Senator Goruk: ''Let's get this over with, Janie.'' The Senator grumbled. The first time he had met Janie, she presented herself as a young tourist from Coruscant, visiting Corellia. She was so pretty and gentle that he couldn't help himself and proposed to show her around town. Before the day was done, the two of them ended up in his suite, being very intimate and spending the night in the same bed. Of course, it had all been a ruse. The girl was in fact a Sith, and her purpose here was to blackmail him. Now that she had their secret relationship on holo-recording, she threatened to expose him to his wife, and everyone that voted for him. Janie handed him a datapad. He took it and started reading while she kept looking at him with her victorious smile. Senator Goruk: ''You know, you're half my age and already you're playing with the pros. You'd make a great politician.'' Janie chuckled at the comment. Janie: ''Oh, my age has nothing to do with this. I am Sith.'' Senator Goruk rolled his eyes. That apparently was an answer that could explain anything. But then he frowned as he kept reading the datapad. Senator Goruk: ''Yes, you told me before... Wait, what is this? The manifest says the transfer will contain battle droids and a large quantity of blasters? I thought we agreed on targeting scanners and other non lethal goods?!'' Janie's smile widened and she came closer to him, bringing a hand up and starting to caress his cheek. Janie: ''Oh, I just changed the agreement slightly. Don't worry, it's still not enough equipment for it to be traced back to you. And I assure you the Empire will be using these things for a very good purpose: to destroy our enemies.'' Goruk did not like being manipulated, and the original demand had been hard enough for him to accept. He grabbed her wrist and brought the Sith's hand away from his face, glaring at her. But Janie kept smiling, appearing completely unworried. The worse part for the Senator was that he had to admit she was right. She was so much more powerful than him, possibly even physically stronger, and with the holo-recording, he had no choice but to comply. Senator Goruk: ''You're a manipulating little kriff! Fine, you'll get your merchandise. But this better be it!'' He put down his access code on the datapad then shoved it into Janie's hand, before turning and walking away, fuming with rage. As he did, Janie giggled then added, just to taunt him one last time. Janie: ''So, Goruk, when you do your wife now, I wonder, do you think about me?'' Goruk turned to face the insolent girl and slapped her hard on the face, sending her to the ground. He then spit at her, before turning back and walking out. Meanwhile on the floor, Janie's grin turned into a full on laugh, clearly unconcerned about being manhandled, instead feeding on his anger, knowing that once again, she had obtained everything she wanted from him.
