hi everyone
this is samaang. 41 centuries on my back, but still alive!
finally i started up with a gallery, because of my first work i'm satisfied.
i've been experiencing 3D with poser in the last 3 years, practising like a blind one. now i discovered some triks that give me more control about final result...
my goal in 3D creating content is about realising graphic novels... but i'm a real fool and i HAVE to create everything (enviroments, clothes, and so on)... finally my workflow is defined, so... i posted my first image in the sanctuarium of digital art.
i'm also a " musician" into death/black metal: i've realised the booklet of my band CD (band called "insania.undici").
i'll post the best images of the art work (but really, that stuff is really ignorant: rendenred in PREVIEW mode!!).

erm its very colourful :-) i have to say i dont like this pic but thats just my personal choice,i noticed that you are doing the pic for a comic? one of the things i learnt in my many years of feedback from doing comics is that you need to simplify what you are portraying which can be quite hard, and especially when doing covers/promo images. the temptation is to throw everything in the image but the initial message of what you are trying to portray gets lost. For instance my eyes are drawn to the superb rocks stood before the main figure rather than the figure itself. the figure itself is very nice although its hard to tell what she is doing? sometimes you really need to dumb down the message that you are portraying so everyone gets it haha. Like you said its a work in progress so keep trying!lots of different camera angles, lighting, different colour combinations etc all play their part.
