Description

Another one from the Dolomites. This time we're in the Geislergruppe/Gruppo delle Odle. The picture shows the so called Piera Longia (which means something like Long/Big Stone), which is a remnant of one of the towers of the Geislergruppe/Gruppo delle Odle that collapsed a very long time ago. The view is from the Northeast, and the Pieralongia Hut is very near (just at the right of and behind the big stone). I think this view on the Piera Longia is very impressive, although not as spectacular as the view on the Geislergruppe/Gruppo delle Odle (which I'll show you later in this series) Thanks for all your nice comments on my last upload, "Dolomiti #17".
