Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name�s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. A daughter of a lady that my wife knows very well passed away yesterday 17:45 in Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria. We rushed to the hospital yesterday but we were just to late. She passed away before we arrived at the Hospital. What I also want to share though is how Almighty our Lord Jesus Christ is. Wednesday afternoon we picked the lady up and took her to the hospital. While on the way there the lady asked me to please com to the hospital as well to pray for her daughter. Me and my wife talked and at first i said that we would do so the next day,but then we both decided to rather go with her and pray for her daughter the same day as we felt it could be to late if we do so the next day. Well we arrived at the hospital ,parked and went to the ward where the lady's daughter Marie was. The lady went inside to see her daughter and me my wife and 2 daughters waited in the waiting room. My wife asked me which scripture am i going to read for the lady Nd I replied that I did not know. The Lord placed the following scripture (psalm 230 in my wife's heart and my wife said to me what about Psalm 23. I told her that is just the scripture that I would read to the lady's daughter.Meanwhile i sat on a chair and read psalm 23 quietly. When i finished i suddenly noticed that it was written on a notice board not far from me that the scripture of the day is Psalm 23. So many would and can say it is co incidental but I say it is not the Lord Jesus Christ is almighty as He gave my wife Psalm 23 at the same time as it was written on the notice board in the waiting room without me or my wife knowing that it was written there. The lady cam out of the ward and told us that they would not allow us to see her daughter Marie.So I read Psalm 23 to Marie's mother and I prayed for Marie,Marie's mother ,stepfather as well as the family. I do not know if everybody remember i uploaded a picture with the heading Birthday Girl which is Marie's daughter Talita and she is Two years old.My heart goes out to that small girl as well as Marie's husband Freddy.http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2162767&user_id=424150&np&np So I dedicate Psalm 23 as well as this flower to Marie who passed away yesterday as well as to her Family.
