Description

Tonight a sudden return to the past with the photo I am about to post a picture now full of history, given the advanced age of about 41 years. Picture taken with Pentax Kx and then Havana 135mm lens, and brought up digitally with Epson 1200 from a print 18x24 print personally Ingrnditore Krokus 3C (3C indicated the possibility of using the three classic colors for printing subtraction). Objective magnifying Componon 50 (spectacular). This magnifier (low-cost but good quality) was able to print up to 6x9 format. (Now a relic in my basement along with Durst enlarger professional level). The photo is taken from the exit port of Viareggio, part of the vessel for fishing and did not return before the next day (or even later). The seagull knows that when the boats return to dragging nets is guaranteed even if the food will have many friends in that situation. Sometimes you have to dive into the past to better achieve this in practice this is just taking time to organize new ideas. Good evening and good weekend Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous images

Beautiful image with wonderful composition and lighting. I like seeing the ship that the gull is waiting for in the background. Lovely lighting accenting the edge of the rock and the chest and forehead of the gull. Excellent work bringing this image back to us through the years. I love scanning and working with old prints. I have my old negatives and slides, and my mom gave me my dad's slides. I wish I had more time to work on them. But I am going through them bit by bit.

Splendid image and excellent effort. All things come to gulls who wait.
