You know how it's hard to admit when you're wrong? Well, it's twice as hard when you're actually right. You see I am not just part of the Zero-Men I also have a membership in the "Scions of Justice" and until about a month ago I was a member in good standing until I had a "Misunderstanding" with one of their members Thunderbolt to be specific. Thunderbolt is an ex cop who is pretty sure he knows everything (mostly he does) but he's not a cop anymore and he has a hard time separating his police regulations from his Superheroics. One time in particular he was spouting about how it was illegal for me to manhandle a couple of thugs. I tried explaining that if the criminals were nicer and hadn't been trying to blow my head off, I would have been more gentle. I'm a mercenary by trade and we don't always get along with cops, he would always bust my balls because I would hack this or break into that. I mean seriously, what kind of friggin superhero is he? He has tons of old connections with all kinds of law agencies from his years on the force and if you ask me I think he may have been traumatized from his years at homicide. Well the last time we got into it I hauled of and tried to punch him, stupid, the guy moves faster than light, I missed and he retaliated. Which accomplished nothing since my armor prevented him from hurting me. So I used a Nueral pack field emitter, did I mention he wears a helmet? He nearly drowned in his own headgear from the vomit, once his helmet was off and I saw he was OK...I decked him. The kinetic gauntlet broke his jaw and knocked him smooth the hell out. It took like a month for him to heal up and he couldn't say a friggin thing in the meantime Heh heh. Unfortunately, now I need him and the other scions so I can "Save the universe" according to the Black Mantis. To do that I'm gonna have to swallow my pride and admit to being wrong. The walk is like marching down Death Row I can see his smug face now...God I wanna punch him again just thinking about it. Think he's still holding a grudge? You can bet on it.
