Description

(worth a zoom?) Having fun with this, thought I'd see how far I could push my poor old 'puter.Well this single render holds 30 B-24's and 9 P-47's and caused no problems.I wonder if I could squeeze a few Germans into the mix? Thanks for all the comments of late, but of course if you keep saying you like these....I'll have to do more! Hope to get back to 'The Plant' this week, I've left 'Tailspin' in charge >-0 Thanks for looking and any and all comments greatly appreciated.....

Great stuff, now all we need is some flack, some great big explosions and gallons of blood and we'll be well away.

A FLAK gunner's dream, a fighter pilot's nightmare! GREAT! The build-up for a 1,000 bomber raid in the making. WOW! And your 'puter hasn't crashed! Well, if it can handle a V4 figure, that's a LOT more Mb than all these planes combined! Now, you said you did WHAT?! Tailspin in charge of the Plant? Uh-oh! Makes me wonder WHAT to expect? Where's the nearest nuclear bomb proof shelter?! :) Can't wait to see what the two of you have brewed up this time! Keep up the good work, and the fun humour! Cheers! :-)

Beautiful! You could throw a few formations on image planes aka billboards for background use and seriously ramp up the number of aircraft in the scene.

Great job Neil... Like your POV but it makes me wonder what you are flying in as you've "taken" this picture? Are you in an Me 262 on a high speed run through this formation? Or could you be flying along as the rear seat gunner/observer in a Soviet Ilyushin Il-2? BTW, did you know the Shturmovik is the single most produced military aircraft design in all of aviation history? The only flyable one in the world will be coming here to the Flying Heritage Collection sometime this winter:) My camera is at the ready!

Neil, this is terrific!! Wow. The sense of the vast expanse of sky inhabited by the aircraft is sensational. Nice composition with the two different types of aircraft. I like the essentially monochromatic color scheme...gives a great feel of the time of day/weather.

That's am impressive amount of metal in this shot mate - very very cool image of course, methinks a few Germans intercepting would spice things up a bit too ;)

So much about this is stunning, especially when zoomed in for detail. I like the way they are all facing different directions, adds to the realism. The only tweak i'd make is possibly the prop blur. Outstanding all the same!
