The question for me was: "To eat or not to eat?"

When I visited our local Super market recently and sighted these weird faces in the Bakery section, I succumbed to temptation and purchased a couple of these cookies - but only for the photo op ;)
I hear you laughing!
I am not really one, to follow the traditional customs adopted from another country and do the whole 'Trick or Treat' thang for the Kiddies, besides nobody would be fit enough and find us here in the first place, living on top of a hill - on 3 acres!
It's marvellous ...
and now, that these two are here immortalised, I shall have one with a cup of coffee -
orange or green? but that's another quandary!
I need help ...

Cute, cute. Great capture and all around postwork on these somewhat compatible characters, BB. My favorite time of the year for this somewhat bizarre frivolity. Your living on top of a hill on three acres reminds me of the house behind the infamous Bates motel. So, Happy Halloween, young lady....and don't miss my posting for tomorrow.

Really funny! Great work, Brigitte. Here whe don´t have a real Halloween. We began to celebrate for years,when I was a teenager (My favorite costume was Count Dracula) but then began to decline. And now only a few celebrate it, mainly those of North American origin, and generally do in private parties. P.S. I love Vincent Price's films.

Oh the memories! Begging from door to door and then trying to eat as much candy until we fell into sugar comas before mother took it away to 'ration' it. When ever mom took the candy it always seemed to disappear. Vincent Price was a favorite of mine. No matter how evil the character, he always seemed to deliver the horror with a wink and a nod just to let you know it was all in fun.
