I've been a 3d "hobby artist" on and off since sometime around 2000 or so. I've never stuck with it long enough to get good or to learn any advanced techniques, but when I do "play around" I have fun.
I also started messing around with vector drawing, as I can't really draw. Using vector allows me to utilize shape deformation and tweaking to create my scenes.
As of right now, July 2018, I'm working hard toward a goal I've had for a decade plus, and that is to make physical card, dice and board games for adults as well as animations and some simple video games. To that end, I'm developing my own characters in vector. The style is simplistic but I believe it will be really good once I have several items completed.

sweeeeeet, this is cool :) i had a 'crack' at texturing your calblade thingy...... unsuccessfully :p i don't know why, but it won't let me paint on it. with my longsword thingy all i have to do is create a layer or whatever over the material i want to paint, and then it lets me paint it. for some reason, i can't do that with yours heheheh don't know why :p sorry man heheh i guess it has to remain textureless for a while longer :P

Exceptional! I like the postwork very much, - You've achieved that feeling of abandon and "cruelty of time". Magnificent.
