I love the way the puddles seem to define the path more than the path defines itself...they lead the eye. In walking, I suspect one would avoid the puddles, but in this image, it seems necessary to follow them, maybe using them like stepping stones--at least metaphorically. That's one of the strongest elements of this shot, and I like it immensely. The colors work so incredibly well here; I love the reddish, iron-oxide-ish coloration of the path itself and the contrasting greenery. The whole shot is tied together by those puddles, diminishing in size with distance, and for me that provides a nice visual dynamic. In short, there is quite a lot in this image to like and I like this image immensely.
