Like a tiny drip from a faucet
Ever so slightly
Drop after drop
Tapping on my brain
Life is wearing me down
Draining my will to live
Birth is the beginning of death
Life is the process that takes us there
Fleeting moments of joy
Give you enough hope
To continue the journey to its natural end
But in the grand scheme of things
Its always ashes to ashes
Dust to dust

My friend this is very sad. :( Life is a most precious gift, and it is up to us to make the very best of it. Things happen each day that we may not understand, but all things happen for a reason. :))))) My grandmother always told me that the devil is always going to be there to try to bring you down, but you have to be strong enough to fight him off. Each time you feel down and out please think of one thing that makes your heart smile and hold onto that thought throughout the day my friend. :)))))) If you set and think about it I bet you will be able to think of alot of wonderful things that has happened in your life such as getting married, and having kids. :)))))) Please continue having hope my friend. :)))))) I smile each day because I am so very happy to be alive to enjoy all the beauty that god puts before me. :)))))) We all have our problems but with faith, family, and friends we always get through. :)))) You have a family of friends that are here for you. :)))) This image is beautiful, but the poem is very sad. sounds great! love the presentation! however, couldn't agree more with dakotabluemoon & whaleman! and all others... (and we'd better learn to turn our brains off, or as Einstein, wisely!, said... “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”). Ashes to ashes in the end... therefore we live (in the) NOW! Not to think (life over), but to experience i.e. to FEEL what life is about... which is LOVE! And a choice! Wishing you all the love in the world, starting with a lot from me!!! (hopefully welcome? ;-)) Take care pls?

Robert Burns said it well - Golden lads and lassies must, as chimney sweeps, come to dust. Everyone ends the same way, its what we do in between the beginning and the end that matters. Concentrate on the journey not the destination my friend. Superb writing. Somber but striking image.
