We have been having some incredible sunrises(when not fogged) in here in the city over the last 3-4 months. I didn't have to go very far as this is seen from my living room window.

This is amazingly seen and captured. I love the rays piercing the clouds and catching just enough gunk in the atmosphere to be visible. You don't see rays unless they're moving through particulate matter; I love it when light does that and I think I've just revealed what a nerd I am. This is a gorgeous shot.
