Description
M4 Rob texture with some bagginsbill shaders.
PP2012, IDL, SSS.
The skin shader is based on Bagginsbill's early SSS shader (the one that's often referred to as the Post 240 shader), combined with BB's method for removing burnt-in specular.
Then I started tweaking the HSV values to get the tone looking better, and radically increased the specular settings - both necessary to make black skin look more realistic using this shader set-up (thanks for pointing this out, BB).
There's one spotlight. Render settings are undemanding, and the render took only 9 minutes.

Beautiful,

Nice work. Small correction to the text - black skin has the same specular as white skin. The shader needs to have the specular multiplier increased because it is using the red channel from the color map to modulate specularity. The purpose is to avoid shining body hair. If you have no need of hair detection, then you can use uniform specular multiplier for all skin types. Has nothing to do with skin color - just an artifact of the hair detection tactic.
