Description
The most detailed and difficult model I have ever made! So, please, look in full size!
Ford Motor Company’s 1958 Edsel debuted on September 4, 1957. Awkward styling, gimmicky “advancements,” and changing buyer tastes help make it one of biggest marketing flops in automotive history. Top of the line models, Corsair and Citation rode on Mercury’s 124-inch wheelbase. Body shells were similarly shared and Edsel offered a wide choice of body styles. Prices were about $500 lower than comparable Mercury’s. The “Teletouch” automatic transmission was controlled by pushbuttons recessed in the steering wheel hub; the speedometer was a “Cyclops-eye” rotating drum; and almost everything else except the rearview mirror could be power-assisted. The 410 cid engine with 345 hp made the Edsel Citation quite rapid. This engine cranked out 475 lb-ft of torque, hence its E-475 moniker on the valve covers. Model year 1960 which ended in November 1959 was the third and last year for Edsel with just 2,846 units produced.

What a beautify model car for one that is known as a bust.... interesting how the glass is laidout on the door.... I don't see a link to your product... was curious if it works in poser.

Love that car. This is so beautiful. Great work my friend. Hope your going to make this available for Poser in the marketplace here because I want one. On, and please do a 2 door hard top version too. I see your Edsel is now in the marketplace, too bad it's only for Vue and LOCKED! I would have bought it if it was for Poser too but now I guess I'll just move on to something else.
