I'm bored!
Okay. DAZ 4 isn't beating me yet. Still has the same "plastic" defaults that cause hot-spots that 3 had. But I'm getting there.
This is only basic lighting here and that could improve.
Any suggestions?

EXCELLENT WORK

If your people look plastic, I usually apply the free shader from Vex that used to be linked to some of Sabby's stuff. My older skins seem plastic. I would suggest Cloud for Daz Studio...it works in 4......or if you have any Poser light sets they work well too..... Anyway looks great!

Sweet render! Did you try using IBL's too? That usually helps me out in Posser.
Savage_dragon
You know you can change the plastic to skin, right? Nice job! ")

The quality of the character skin is very important, you can also use skin, shaders, as for lights, one of the best is Lantios lights or using Uber Environment but so long to render (you can find some tips like turning the raytraced shadows in deep shadow maps to shorten the time of render) ... lighting is a very complicated thing :-)) Anyway, I think your scene looks good and I like the shadow !

As Savage dragon said under the Skin Tab under General (towards the bottom), Lighting model, you can change the skin texture or any texture from plastic to skin, matte, metallic, glossy metallic, glossy plastic, or the default plastic.. But you have probably tried this ..
renecyberdoc
yeah the old daz disease loading all by default on plastic, but over the time you get used to use the surfaces tab and set it to matte.

Can't help as I have not used daz studio in years. I like your render however. I think showing her your render might entertain her otherwise I would be in trouble being with out talent... Typing comments in Rendo is about as much talent as I have. I did once get a site mail from a moderator that my comment caused her to snort his tea though her nose. I guess thats a talent. Of course that was long ago.

Anytime, darling. Lighting looks fine to me; but I don't know Daz.

L'éclairage n'est pas si basique. Et puis j'aime bien le titre en forme d'ordre. C'est plutôt impressionnant.
